Can You Replace Your Motorway Toll Badge Battery?

 

You cannot replace the battery in your toll badge yourself. 
If you’ve checked that your badge is correctly positioned and it still doesn’t work, or if you’re experiencing recurring issues, it’s likely time for a replacement. The average lifespan is around five years, but this can be reduced if your badge is frequently exposed to Wi-Fi signals.

 

How Do You Replace Your Motorway Toll Badge?

 

If your badge is no longer working or you’re having repeated issues at several different toll barriers, you can request a replacement. Simply log in to your account and select the “replace faulty badge” option. A new badge will be sent to you free of charge, but you’ll need to return the old one first. However, if your badge shows signs of damage, a replacement fee may apply.
